Sadly our Best friends don't stay with us forever.... This is a page dedicated to those we have loved dearly and lost......
Ashram was a lovely Thoroughbred hack which I had purchased in 2006. I first met him when his owners asked me to educate and show him for them in 2005. After a short preparation he went to his first show at which her managed to secure Reserve Champion hack. After this show I was busy with my own ponies and I didn't see him for some time. It was 12 month later his owners informed me he was for sale. I was at the time looking for a hack of my own and so I purchased him. Sadly we didn't see another show as he passed away in the months following his arrival at our property. He was a true kind gentleman and one of my all time favourites.
CherryTree Schnapps AKA Huggie had been with us for twelve years before his death in 2009. Huggie was Kelly my daughters first show pony. She had great success with him including wins in both child rider and hunter classes. He was a gentle soul and he eventually saw a number of children through the show ring and pony club scene right up to the last year before his passing in March 2009. He was loved by the children that got the chance to ride this gentle little man. Huggie was By Rowfant Stormcock out of Ceulan Sapphire.
Sadly Poppy led only a short life. For months we had been waiting the arrival and sure enough we got what we wanted, a chestnut filly with a striking white blaze and four white socks. We where just over the moon to see her in the paddock cantering around her mum playing. Poppy had a very sweet nature and loved humans from the minute she was introduced to them. We where absolutely devastated to learn in the following hours that Poppy would live only a short life and so the hard decision was made while she was still in good health. We hope that in time we can breed another little brother or sister just like Poppy. The whole package.Poppy was out of Alpha Raven by Imperial Mendel.
